Offer instalments to your customers and make it easier for them to say yes to larger purchases.
Instalment payments let your trade and retail customers split a wholesale order or invoice into instalments over 3, 6 or 9 months, while you supply the goods as normal. The buyer picks the instalment option on your invoice, quote, checkout or payment link. PaidTerms pays you, and the buyer pays PaidTerms back over time.
Yes, with PaidTerms Capital. Once the buyer is approved, you receive the invoice amount upfront (less the 1.5% merchant fee), so you are not waiting 30, 60 or 90 days or carrying the receivable on your books. With PaidTerms Pro, you are paid as each instalment is collected from the buyer.
On PaidTerms Capital, PaidTerms does. Once you've been paid, you keep that payment regardless, and PaidTerms handles repayments and collections from the buyer. You don't need to chase overdue invoices or put customers on stop.
PaidTerms Capital charges wholesalers a flat 1.5% of the invoice amount, and that fee doesn't change with the instalment term the buyer chooses. PaidTerms Pro has no PaidTerms fee for merchants. Compared with offering a 5–10% discount to close a large order, the Capital fee is usually the cheaper lever.
On PaidTerms Capital, buyer fees start from 3.95% as a flat fee for the instalment plan — not an annual interest rate. The exact fee, repayment amounts and schedule are shown to the buyer before they confirm.
Yes. Instalments are built for high-value wholesale purchases: seasonal stock-ups, pallet and container quantities, opening orders for new retail accounts and large replenishment orders. When buyers can spread the cost, they're less likely to cut quantities or split one order into several smaller ones, which lifts average order value without discounting.
With traditional trade terms, the wholesaler funds the gap: you ship the goods, wait until the 20th of the following month (or 60 days) to be paid, and carry the bad-debt risk. With PaidTerms Capital, the buyer gets longer to pay (up to 9 months) while you get paid upfront, and PaidTerms carries the risk.
Yes. Many wholesalers keep their normal trade accounts and use PaidTerms for orders that fall outside them, such as an order larger than the customer's account limit, a seasonal stock-up, or a new customer you're not ready to open an account for. You choose which invoices to offer instalments on.
Often, yes. Instead of asking a new customer to pay cash on delivery or pay in full before dispatch, you can offer PaidTerms instalments. The buyer is assessed by PaidTerms, you are paid upfront, and the new account doesn't have to find the full order value on day one.
Yes. PaidTerms integrates with Xero, so wholesalers can add a Pay in instalments option to existing Xero invoices. You can also send a PaidTerms payment link by email for any order. Integrations with MYOB, Shopify, Magento, Cin7 and Unleashed are coming soon.
PaidTerms assesses each business buyer in real time against its credit and risk criteria, and only approved buyers are offered instalments. Funding limits depend on your account, transaction history and risk profile, and you can request increases as your volume grows.
