Meet the founder
Thomas Morgan, Founder of PaidTerms
PaidTerms was founded in Auckland by New Zealand entrepreneur Thomas Morgan.
Thomas developed the idea after seeing how frequently cash-flow timing affected otherwise healthy business transactions. Suppliers wanted to offer customers greater flexibility, but doing so meant waiting longer to be paid and carrying additional credit risk.
He founded PaidTerms to create a better way for New Zealand businesses to trade: suppliers receive their money upfront, while approved customers get additional time to pay.
Today, Thomas continues to lead PaidTerms as it grows its network of suppliers, develops its technology and works toward making flexible B2B payments a standard part of doing business in New Zealand.

PaidTerms helps New Zealand suppliers get paid upfront on their invoices, while giving their business customers the flexibility to spread the cost over instalments.
It removes the trade-off where one side has to carry the cash flow pressure of the other.
We noticed that many good business transactions stalled because the supplier needed to be paid now, but the customer needed more time to pay.
PaidTerms was built in New Zealand to solve that mismatch, so both sides get the outcome they need.
