Dezignatek is the biggest producer of thermoform cabinetry doors in NZ and provides custom edging for melamine, acrylic and HPL doors. Two joinery supplies businesses - Impey's and Anthony Shearer service the North Island and South Island joinery respectively, distributing the entire range of branded products from NZ Panels Group from panels to benchtops, sinks and accessories. In December 2021, New Zealand Panels Group acquired New Zealand's largest sink manufacturer and distributor, Acero, best known for its Mercer range of sinks along with a range of tapware and accessories. Wilsonart HPL benchtops and Durasein solid surfaces were acquired as part of this and now distributed by Impey's and Anthony Shearer. The company has grown rapidly to number more than 300 people but fiercely adheres to a small company DNA and a culture established by the founding partners who are on the current Board. With a journey to become carbon negative, the company has ECNZ accreditation over a wide range of products, and is proactively working across a number of fronts to improve sustainability, increase recycling and re-use of its products and lower its energy usage.
